I recently became a MobileMe user, but was very disappointed when i realized that the awesome webapp for MobileMe wasn't available as a real application for my Mac. I then remembered this little Application called Fluid that I had downloaded a while back. Fluid is a site specific web browser that turns your favorite websites into Mac desktop applications. It's super simple to use!
Download and install Fluid: Download Here

Insert your MobileMe url into the application: (use whichever webapp URL you want to be the first to load. For example I use https://me.com/mail)

Title your application: MobileMe
Use this image as the application icon: (not the Favcon) ![]()
Then create! After you create and launch your new MobileMe application you'll have to log in. It's easier to click "stay logged in for 2 weeks"
After you are logged in and everything is working, go to your MobileMe Application preferences:
Click on the Appearance pane: (change to these settings)

Finished:

So I rushed to the nearest used book store, with iPad in hand, measured up some books (old used books because they looked the coolest and smelled the beat) and chose a couple of my favorites. They only cost $2.25 each! I then went to Walmart, got some rubber cement and a fingertip x-acto knife for precise cuts!
After 11 hours, a whole bottle of rubber cement, and a bloody finger I had finished my new case! Here are my results:
Note: I used some patterned scrapbooking paper for the backing of the case, and the bookmark (which doubles as a tab to remove the iPad from the case). I also added the coffee stains to the inside cover to give it more character.via inside my eyes
I would argue that new adventures are better with old friends, but surely it goes without saying. Read More >>

Apple released their newest product today, the iPad. I was reading some reviews and I just cannot decide if I like it better than the Courier or not. I have not had the chance to use an iPad yet, so let me know what you guys think of it if you have. The iPad is available now, here, and sells for $499, $599, $699, $629, $729 and $829. The Courier is rumored to release Q3 or Q4 of 2010, just in time for the holidays, but the price is unknown.
